Community Service

    Purpose:

Holding true to NABA’s motto of “Lifting As We Climb,” community service is a vital component of NABA Philadelphia’s success.  The Community Relations committee acts as a liaison between the Philadelphia Chapter and various community-based groups.  In addition, the committee is responsible for coordinating many exciting events such as Financial Literacy workshops, and programs such as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), within the fiscal year that will provide our members with an opportunity to give back to the community.

    Objectives:

    1. To provide outreach to the community through grassroots efforts and partnering with other community based organizations.
    2. To increase attendance and membership participation by both professionals and students at community service events.
    3. To work with NABA sponsors to assist in providing volunteer opportunities for members.
